This fast and reliable Blast Server is set up by
Computational Biology of
Temasek
Life Science Laboratory (TLL) locally with the aim to help researchers,
biologist and bioinformatician to blast their data online. The whole process is automated
and with only a click, data is submitted to cluster for processing. |

Both WuBlast from Washington University and Blat by Jim Kent at UCSC are integrted
in our Blast Server. Users are given option to run the blast algorithm that suit thier analysis. We have implemented two separate databases repository,
public and private, for the use of public users and registered users respectively. |
| ∗ |
Public Server, Blast Server / Blat Server,
are open to all public users whereby they can blast their data against our public databases.
Just to name a few here, nr, nt, pombe, magnoporthe grisea,
ciona intestinals (BAC ends), tetraodon & etc. We are keeping
our public repository up to date and adding most common public databases
to it from time to time. Please let us know if there are other large public sequences that you would like to blast. |
| ∗ |
Private
Blast Server is open to registered users only whereby they are
allow to setup their own private data repository on our blast server
and access it anywhere in the world securely. The utility of
user authentication ensures your data is protected from access by
other users. On top of this, user has the ownership in database management
whereby they can add or remove any database in their account. |

Registered users are provided with the administrative services to update their personal information
as well as password. Besides this, private users are provided with utility to keep track on their past blast history. |
